Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace, looking magnificent as we arrived to install a new washing machine.

SLS had a rare opportunity to provide a new washing machine for the Duke of Marlborough and it wasn’t a typical day at the office.

Unfortunately when the Palace was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh and built in 1705 they failed to consider the need to install a large commercial grade washing machine in 2016, hence the doorway into the laundry room was only 800mm wide. To this end SLS totally dismantled the new Miele Professional PW6167 washing machine in our warehouse and delivered the collapsed machine on seven small pallets to be rebuilt within the laundry room.

SLS arrived on site in the morning and worked tirelessly to complete the installation on the same day, locking up behind as we left in complete darkness at 8pm, satisfied that the machine was in full operational condition and our work was done.
